Honored to put a new perspective on resilient infrastructure development in the Working Group on Disaster Management of G-20 as to how to encourage more private participation in it.

Millions of lives are affected by various disasters occurring throughout the world.

The major concern of the private sector in resilient Infrastructure development is higher cost and associated risk.

My recommendations to encourage emerging market companies' participation it are:-

👉Good regulatory frameworks to create a level playing field.

👉Spillover effect type policies can play an innovative and important role.

👉Resilience metrics in business model and

👉Risk reduction through the participation of Insurance companies.

Road accidents are man-made, but so is Global Warming.

They need the same attention and measures to protect people from them.

We have the measures, and we have the resources; we just need to work to implement them.

What do you think? How can we combat the disaster of road accidents better?
